What I Hope You Learned During Heart Month

If you are a follower of mine on Instagram, you probably know that, for the month of February, I posted every day to follow the themes of the Pediatric Congenital Heart Association’s #CHDAware Challenge.

My purpose was to support the cause for heart month along with providing some insight into this important aspect of our lives now.  On top of that, though, I actually learned a lot as I reflected on different aspects of the journey.

So, today, in case you aren’t on Instagram, or missed some posts, I thought I would do a little recap of some of my favorite insights of the challenge.

If you’ve followed along, I hope you’ve learned something you didn’t know about CHD, and maybe have been inspired to donate or volunteer to help the cause.

I hope you’ve learned that ours is a story of gratitude, that there is something just about everywhere we turn to be thankful for.

I hope you’ve learned that the past year has changed who we are as a family for the better.

I hope you’ve learned that, no matter what you’re facing, there is good all around you too; you might just have to look for it.
